Index AR Solutions CEO Dan Arczynski and Senior Vice President Scott Sommers were recently invited to present at the Duke Energy 2019 XR Spring Showcase, demonstrating how the company’s cutting-edge mobile applications are harnessing the power of augmented reality to deliver real value for utilities and other industries.

Index was one of only three industry-leading companies hand-picked to present at the event, which was held May 2 in the new Duke Energy Innovation Center at Optimist Hall in Charlotte, North Carolina. The uniquely collaborative work space was created to support Duke Energy’s development of next-generation, customer-focused products and services.

During the event, the Duke Energy XR Studio, its Emerging Technology Office (ETO), and its Metrology Services teams shared their 2019-2020 XR strategy and latest hardware and software capabilities with its business partners.

At the event, Arczynski and Sommers showcased several of the augmented reality-based mobile app, SuperApp and In-Book solutions now available from the company. Attendees enjoyed hands-on demonstrations and were given the chance to ask questions about solution capabilities and real-world experiences.
