Index CEO Dan Arczynski Named Chair of William & Mary Military & Veteran Affairs Advisory Group Committee

Index AR Solutions President and CEO Daniel Arczynski participated in a recent meeting of the William & Mary Military and Veteran Affairs (MIL/VET) Advisory Group and was elected to serve as Chair of the group’s Resource Development, Entrepreneurial and Outreach Committee.

The Advisory Group conducts much of its work through two standing committees, which review issues, make proposals, recommend policy changes or additions, provide oversight and guidance, and advance special projects throughout the year. These committees meet between full Group sessions and report their progress during winter and spring meetings.

Arczynski, a U.S. Army Veteran, was appointed to the Advisory Group in June of 2025. In his new position, Arczynski will help guide efforts focused on strengthening relationships and expanding opportunities for W&M MIL/VET. According to the Resource Development, Entrepreneurial and Outreach Committee description, its role is to assist in identifying and developing relationships and opportunities for W&M MIL/VET among alumni and friends of William & Mary, the campus community of students, faculty, and staff, and external organizations and individuals — including entrepreneurial and thought leaders engaged in military transition.

In carrying out this mission, the committee collaborates closely with the Office of the Special Assistant to the President for Military & Veteran Affairs on fundraising efforts, engagement strategies and the promotion of campaign priorities. It monitors fundraising progress, makes recommendations regarding potential donor groups and corporate partners, discusses current University Advancement priorities, and suggests opportunities for fundraising events.

For Index AR Solutions, Arczynski’s W&M MIL/VET committee chair appointment reflects a strong alignment between the company’s workforce development mission and William & Mary’s commitment to serving military-affiliated students. Veterans bring leadership, technical aptitude and mission-driven focus to the workforce. Supporting their transition into higher education, entrepreneurship and meaningful careers strengthens communities and the broader economy.

Launched in 2020 utilizing an anonymous $10 million gift from an alumna, the W&M MIL/VET program has garnered national attention for its holistic approach, which includes executive transition training, career readiness services, and targeted engagement with the military community. Former U.S. Secretary of Defense and current William & Mary Chancellor Robert M. Gates serves as the honorary chair of the Advisory Group.
